There's something particularly rewarding about seeing someone else describe the difference your product made.
Bronte Surf Life Saving Club released its Annual Report and 25/26 Financial Statement, and it was wonderful to see TaskWiz recognised for its role in last year's Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim.
Coordinating more than 300 volunteers across a major sporting event is no small undertaking.
For years, Volunteer Coordinator Garry Luscombe had relied on complex spreadsheets and considerable skill to bring that enormous volunteer effort together.
Last year, TaskWiz was introduced to help streamline the process, from volunteer allocation through to communications.

TaskWiz made that process far more efficient and manageable.
The Annual Report also acknowledges the contribution of Volunteer Communications Coordinator Bec Harbison, who redesigned the volunteer registration questions to better align with the new system and worked with Marc to "integrate and automate these communications within TaskWiz."
I particularly like those two acknowledgements because they capture what TaskWiz is designed to do. It doesn't replace the people who make these events happen. It gives them better tools to manage the huge amount of coordination happening behind the scenes.
And now we're doing it all again. Preparations for this year's Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim are already well underway, and we're looking forward to building on everything we learned last year.
The roster is finished. But the job isn't - everyone still needs to know where to go, when to arrive and what they're doing. Good communication isn't about sending more. It's about making sure the right information reaches the right people.
